Our purpose is to “perpetuate the memory of our shipmates who gave their lives in the pursuit of their duties while serving their country. That their dedication, deeds and supreme sacrifice be a constant source of motivation toward greater accomplishments. Pledge loyalty and patriotism to the United States of America and its Constitution”.
Parche-1000 Islands Base and Southern Tier Satellite Base
Our members are not JUST from the 1000 Islands area. The founders of our charter were all from that area, hence the name of our Base. We represent much more of the NY area including Upstate NY, Central NY, and Southern Tier NY including, Cape Vincent, Syracuse, Liverpool, Weedsport, Seneca Falls, Oswego, Cicero, Fulton, Mexico, Central Square, Cleveland, West Monroe, Manlius, Rome, Baldwinsville, Skaneateles, North Rose, Binghamton, and areas surrounding any these.
